we built this to lay flat rails on 22's. you dont have to tub the firewall for 20's or even 22's for that matter. we've got some products for the colorado. if you're interested or have any questions email me. check the site for contact info.

20x8.5 with +14 offset. they'll fit upfront but not in the rear. I only have my front done. I haven't really measured anything in the rear yet, but I was under the impression that with an 8.5" wheel and a high offset you wouldn't have any problems in the rear??

Im not sure, I have been laid out with stocks and it is super close in the rear. From everyone I have talked to you either have to narrow the rear or flare the bedsides. But if anyone has done this w/o doing either of the above, what offset and wheel size?

My truck is just stactic dropped with bell teck leaf's and djm 4" block in the rear and tucks a little tire in the rear at all time. I trimmed the lip a little and don't rub the bed side. My Budniks are 20x8.8" w/ 6.5" backspace in the rear on 255/35-20's. I need to add wheel tubs as I do rub the top inside of the factory whell tubs inthe bed though when I cary a decent load. The truck is c-notch, bed floor cut out for pumpkin clearance the cab crossmember is notched for drive shaft clearance.

thanks man, I have mine tubbed and the lip trimmed slightly with stocks, but everyon told me I would have to narrow the rear with aftermarket rims

I thought that with a +35-40 mm offset you'd be straight in the rear?

when we did the colo you see on the last page, we had the coddingtons made with the most offset possible on an 8.5 inch hoop thinking that would do it, but we still had to narrow the rear end 1" on each side. now she frame with about 1/4" of clearance. had we known that 22's with that much offset wouldn't work, we would have just narrowed the rear 3" from the begining alowing us to run a wheel with a nice lip out back. don't make the same mistake as wee did. just get it narrowed now.
