HEY MAN I CAN GET WIRING DIAGRAMS IF YOU NEED....HIT ME UP WITH EMAIL ADRESS AND I WILL LOOK IT UP AND SEND IT YOUR WAY....THERE ARE GROUNDS IN THE BACK PART OF THE FRAME COMING FROM THE TAILLIGHT HARNESS THAT NEED TO BE GROUNDED FOR THE FUEL PUMP TO OPERATE...

my idea would be that there is a fuel pump ground on drives side frame rail, near the back of the bed. there is a washer on it that digs into the frame so the ground gets through to the bare metal of the frame. make sure that that's hooked up. it does come out of the taillight wiring harness like the guy above said. i had a similar problem on my 97 sonoma with the 2.2l after i bagged it.

ok....on engine performance...there is a ground for fuel pump relay-right side of engine...fuel pump ground-inside of left rear frame rail....pcm ground is-right rear of engine...ignition control moduleground-right rear of engine....on your starting circuit....there is three grounds for battery 1-right front frame rail 2-right radiator support 3-right side of engine block, under generator or alternator. starter relay is also in right side under alternator....hope that helps and i will see what i can do more on gettin those diagrams to you ...
