fuel filter, and the pickup screen in the tank. Make sure both are clean. But especially the fuel filter.
And a word of warning: DONT EVER let that truck run hot. The heads have a defect, Mazda knew about it, didnt recall it, and wont pay for it. They will, however, sell you a brand new (redesigned) head for 900 dollars. I have owned three 2600i's, I bought two with cracked heads and one crack while I owned it. Salvage yard and used heads just havent cracked yet, the only real solution is a new head.
