where did u hear that bullshit from the point of a tinted primer is so u dont have to use as much paint to cover with and it makes the paint cover even, so y the hell would u sand most of it off and have it cover in some spots and not in others? it would make the paint blotchie are u would have to use alot more paint to make it cover even....

and c-dog dont paint the truck with a primer unless ur gonna let it sit in the garage until u paint it, the primer will soak up water and itll chalk up from the sun go wit the hotrodz flatz if u want the primer look........ and the tinted primer in fire engine red is really high we painted a friend of mines wrecker and he paid 200 a gallon just for the tinted primer so its cheaper to go wit the hotrodz stuff and itll last a lot longer

i heard with a lot of the tintable primers, they pick up dirt as well. someone pointed a truck out to me with aqua tinted primer and you could see where the dirt in spot stuck to the body. Is this true, or was it just that truck???

if u dont wipe down the surface u painting and theres still dirt on it then if u paint over it the dirt stays, or if u paint in a shed u should wet the floordown wit water and it keeps the dirt stuck on the floor somewhat instead of flaoting around in the air , however it doesnt attract dirt if dirt in the air falls on it when its wet then itll stay stuck same thing if a fly lands in the paint hes stayin there
