Stupid Question about DONK's

Where did this trend of the DONK themes begin? There is one rolling around Wilmington called the "Queen Victoria" with crowns and gold on it, then theres a red & blue McDonalds Themed one, and of course all the ones that were posted in the DONK thread...

Who thought up the idea to make these ridiculous themes, and does anyone else think they are G-A-Y??

Mostly everyone thinks they are gay, except for the owners. They probably say the same thing about bagged trucks.

we have a guy at work painted his car the color of a "watchamacallit" candy bar...then went out and got "watchamacallit" stickers. this is the dumbest shit i have ever seen. if im gonna be putting something that big on the side of my ugly painted vehicle, with "reDONKulous" big wheels im gonna get paid for it(or a life time supply of candy bars). also, look in the autotraders they are trying to sell these cars for $25,000 and i have seen higher

Speaking of DONKS or BUBBLES or whatever the fuck you wanna cal, those ugly p.o.s. At work today we got a new magazine named "DONK BOX & BUBBLES"

I think "skyscrapers" are ghey. I dont mind big rims (22's/24') as long as the car is tastefull, like anything. Im still gonna do a "box body" wagon, and paint like a Saltine cracker box or Miracle Whip tub. LOL.

I doubt that this is where they came up with the idea, but in a way it mimicks the old gassers from 60's (?) where guys thought that if they raised thier rides, that it would make them faster.

Donks, or whatever the hell you call those dumb ass things are the lamest looking rides I have ever seen!...If you can't tuck'm...fuck'm!!becouse big wheels are gay,unless you lay!! at least thats what I say.

i think the idea just came from thinking out side the box..then everyone bit it, and it got played out quick. i dont think they're gay...but i dont think they're that fresh either.i do agree that the "themed" ones are nasty..but then again those are the ones people talk about... its just someones taste...even if i dont agree with it..gotta respect it to some point.
