Measurement thread.

No we are not going to slap them on the table and see who wins.
I thought since everyones always posting threads like how long is this, how wide is that that I would start a thread where we could put it all in one spot that way it's easy to find. If this is a bad idea it will go away on it's own.


I'll start.

Could someone measure there box body and tell me how wide it is from the weatherstripping lip on the doors. From passenger side to driver. I cut the floor out and moved the cab before I supported it and want to make sure it hasn't moved.

Are you tryin' to see if the cab is off center to the frame, or are you tryin' to see if the body as spread apart now that the floor is gone?

Trying to make sure the cab hasn't spread or pulled in from not having a floor. I should have braced it first but you know how those things go sometimes. Had to get it off the trailer.

could you possibly, depending on how the cuts are of course, just measure the floor pan that came out cut to cut, then the inside of the cab cut to cut?

The cuts aren't even I made a rough cut then trimmed it so there is material missing. If that makes any sense.

yea, I know what you mean, that's why I was sayin' it would depend on the cuts. what year is the truck?
