sounds like the same issue im having with a buddies 510 datsun, the strut on that car slides on that tube attached to the hub, knuckle area, and then is held in place by a retainer ring, you could probably section that tube and make your own bag strut or do cylinders

would it be easier to make say an upper control arm type deal for a bag or actually do a cylinder??

thats what i was thinking for the 510, control arm, just have to make a mount for the arm

do you by cahnce have any drawn up or anything specific that your gonna do that i should know about for mine
