how to link with keeping you stock gas tank

im trying to find a way to link 3 or 4 my 97 s 10 by keeping my gas tank in the stock position.. i dont want to spend alot of money on it but i dont want it to break on me if anybody has any ideas it wold help alot , thanks

how bout a 3-link with a custom wishbone?

everyone`s going to hate on this post but you can do a reverse with the bags either on the bars or over the axle. i have had a reverse with the bags on the bars for over 3 years now and no problems

well this is an idea gathering post. my next project im going to run a wishbone with the bags behind and under the axle.
im not sure on how much it will cost but i dont think it would be much more than a bridge setup.

i have a reverse 4-link also...going on 2 yrs, never had a problem...also, suicidedoors.com makes a pretty awesome 3 link and you can keep your stock tank..it uses a new tank crossmemeber for the back of the tank and then the front crossmemeber has 4 bolts into the frame, you just drill new holes to lift the front of the tank so it doesn't rub the ground and go boom...

do it right, dont be a fucking hack and install a revese 4 link. get a raised gas tank x member from sd and then get one of their 4 links and weld it all up. the only way to do it right is relocate the tank higher and foreward 4 link, period.

put the tank in the bed problem solved.

fbi has a bolt on 4link that also has the cross memeber to raise your gas tank to help keep you from draggign threw. all you have to do more is put your bags over the axle behind, or make a canti off to the bakc and i think it runs around $500

lol james i have had my tank moved. but thats beside the point i have had a reverse goin on 2 years candos kit. no probs. just another idea
