I ran in to a snag

and this would be why I don't have a hood

and by the way I didnt body drop it I just added an intake and an airaid adapter








it hard to see but the air cleaner is in the middle of the plain of the hood

can't u section some of the bracing under the hood or no???? get rid of the spacer... Just kiddin

it's up now and its not coming back down thats like having to low of a truck and raising it back up I have a cowl hood that I'm thinking of cutting some of the braces out but then I'll have to repaint the whole truck

these are selling some nice poliester cowlhoods

I have cowl hoods, I just don't want to paint the truck to match the hood

then paint the hood to match the truck

I'm not that great of a painter but I do alright but I dont think I can get the orange peel and sags the same as the rest of the truck

a 14" drop base cleaner from Summit should fit. Mine fits DragNasty with a factory hood and BD.
