What are you stock flooring. 2x4x1/4 is some heavy duty stuff. I'm cutting my 2x4x3/16 with a bandsaw I got on clearance at harbor freight. I was cutting it with a chop saw but I was tires of recutting it. Cuttin it with a chopsaw sucks.

I like to use really, REALLY sharp toenail clippers. The big ones you know.

I just use a chop saw with this crazy blade that I get here in town that kicks ass. I'll try to find out what it's called.

you can get a portable bandsaw from harbor frieght, you can find them cheap, and they work great. but i use a plazma, but i'm guessing you want something cheaper. I did my whole bodydrop with a 9 dollar Chicago grinder, and a crap load of cut off wheels.

I cut a piece of 3x3 3/8" wall in my HF bandsaw. It took like 8 hours. I set it at midnight and went to bed, got up at 7:30 and it was almost done.

sounds like you need a new blade seth.

That was the first thing I cut. But after I cut it I needed a new blade. Lol. For some reason it just cuts ridiculously slow.
