I worked my part time job sunday night till monday morning, Flew there monday morning and drove the 12 hours back. sooooo i'm just now getting going again.
The truck is bad ass on the outside and inside. There is some body dammage from jackknifing a trailer and he was upfront about that, and its not bad. Body drop is straight.
If DIB did the front, i'm VERY dissapointed, the front is hacked really bad. Lots of stuff cut out and nothing aligned right. I was planning on taking off the crappy 2 link and setting it up to tow a goosneck so redoing the rear was expected, but i'm going to have to redo the front also. I'll take some pics, looks like a 5 year old with a cutting tourch. Also the front spring cups are all bent up, i have no clue on how that happened, and the owner wasn't 100% sure either, he thought it was the upper a-arm, hitting it, right now i don't see how that could happen. I'll massage out the front frame. I won't have time to do it till after Texas Heat Wave.
(the owner of the show bought it)
Don't take it as a complaint about the deal on the truck, its still a good deal I feel, just take a few thousand to make a decent driver.
I'll be getting some semi wheels machined by my dad, for him and for mine, now i just got ot find a place to get adapters "hint hint hint". He just got a new lathe he can chuck up a 28" wheel...
