So i am getting alot of answers here collectively.
I seems it will work but I will have to get an exhaust shop to fab everything after the collectors to work properly.
Am I correct in that assumption?

I have a 22re with thier headers, & the flange sits about a 1/2'' below the frame. Will have the modify the header,or plate the frame both sides so not the brake the header!!The part numbers are differant for the 22r & 22RE!

I got my LC header on a body drop and motor dropped and no problems here...

Is the factor of having a z changing if the header hangs below or not? This sounds to me like it's an issue. If you have a stock or dropped motor wouldn't it hang below? I know Seth's front crossmember's sectioned so wouldn't this all have to play a factor on the LC one?

my truck isnt z'ed, motor is in stock location, and bodydropped. my truck lays full frame front to rear and the headers flange sits a half inch below the frame rail. the header is hand made by a guy that might have wanted to leave early that day or whatever. took it out of the jig to soon while it was still hot, who knows. you can either shave that half inch off or cut the flange off and twist it or use a different flange.

I've got a Downey Offroad header. It's well above my frame. http://www.downeyoff-road.com/

If you Z your frame it raises your motor. If you don't drop it back down, it will stick out of your hood, and will not be at a good angle. My crossmember is Z'd one inch, and the motor is dropped 5/8" from there. Thats the equivalent of a 1" Z' and dropping the motor 1 5/8". My motor is pretty low, and my header doesnt touch. I also found it convenient to do the crossmember section due to the amount my motor needed to be lowered, because my alternator would have hit the framerail. It close to it now, with the framerails an inch higher I would have had to put a huge notch in the frame.
