It's an SS laying body kit on 28's with a 275/25/28.....the tire combo is .21 inches taller than a 305/30/26....and 1.29 inches taller than a 295/35/24....so the tire is kinda small. It's a badass truck and he actually drove it from the hotel to the show Gator Drag weekend.

---------------------------------------------Originally posted by DroptSdimeThat SS has a body kit on it??---------------------------------------------If you read my post....that's what I said....it's laying body kit on 28's. The MIC Avalanche is badass no doubt...but i've hear from several people who've seen it in person that its pretty hacked up. Laying anything on 28+ wheels is badass....but lets see how many miles these trucks see a year. And the Blue Ekstensive truck is on 26's with a 305/30/26 and the clearance is tight enough that the 275/25/28 wouldnt fit even though its only .20 inches taller.

In case people haven't noticed. Big wheels being cool depends on who built the ride. Guarantee the old MIC Avalanche would have a totally different discussion if a different shop built it or the 'right' club was involved. It ran and drove. Even had a video to prove it. But doesn't really matter. Truck is gone.   Blue chevy Bill did is on 26's. Not 28's not 30's.. 26's. All the rides that get tossed up are clean. So now big wheels take away from a ride? Personally I can appreciate the amount of work it takes for a big wheeled ride to lay frame or body. Most bodykits are level with the frame so laying bodykit is usually frame or pretty damn close.   This back and forth has gone on since the SEMA all those rides debuted.

Just outta curiosity...What happened to the MIC Avalanche...the video and Sema coverage is the last i've seen of it. I don't see a problem with big wheels...as long as the size of the wheels or tires don't make the vehicle undrivable...not just cruisin around shows...but actually able to get out on the streets and perform like a vehicle should. I like all of them...it takes alotta work to get something that low on that much wheel.

It is no longer in one piece. Whether it was stolen or parted out it is no more.

most of your average "mini truckers" wont understand how much work it does take to get a truck with that big of wheel on the ground, the geometry aspect of making something like that work is nuts, a 30 with a tire is like 37 inches tall, making it steer good, stop good, get enough lift, get enough drop, getting the camber curve right, its a big deal and takes some design work to figure it out but it can be done as already proven.  the only thing i dont like about big wheels is how high you have to raise a vehicle to drive them...
