hoody hood hood

i need some ideas for a hood for my toyota, its bd to the door and the roof is chopped so big hoods look gay, i couldnt quite get it to clear stock so looks liike im going o be making one, any one have ideas besides the standard cowl?? thanks.

Make an obscure bubble, or dome over the area that hits tight now. I'll hammer one out and smooth it on the english wheel for you if you want to go that route.

its only the front of the valve cover, thats it, kind of hard to make look good.was thinking of using the stock toyota bubble and widening and lifting it a bit.

take the hood scoop from a new taco an graph it into the hood. its larger then
the older tacos.

which new tacos are you reffering to.

the 20r valve cover is slanted in the front. You might not have to make such a large bubble if you use it.

ah so your saying use the lifted part and just graft it into the fornt of my grille? nice idea, think that may work.

uis it the same head though??

Thats a good point Kyle. I have 3 of them Josh.And you could modify the cap mount to get it lower as well.
