Like I said, the filler neck could be modified. The filler neck is farther back, putting it farther from the underside of the hood. You could simply trim the top off and put a flush cap in, who knows, it may fit under his hood.

i plan on cutting the filler neck off and machining a flat flush cap, but the front of the thing is my problem, hey any chance you can get us a side by side pic, lol.

You can see the front is lower Josh. Probably a good inch, and the slop goes about 1.5-2" back.

How far did you lower the motor??

i had a buddy of mine that had a 94 yota with a trad BD to the doors with a stock hood. He lowered the motor over 2 inches and had to section the pan and mod his steering linkage. He also had to grind a little off the intake plenum to get the hood to close.

You can only drop it so far before the tranny hits the ground.

exactly, my pan isnt the problem, ive dropped the steering down and made a new flat engine crossmember but its just notlow enough, the stock floor leaves minimal room as well as it being doored, the intake manifold has been completely rebuilt lower than the stock height but the only problem im having is the front of the valve cover is like an inch and a 1/2 to tall at the front, not with the valve cover seth is sending me it should get it bit closer but i think im still gonna have make a hood, i asked tht guy how he made his fit but im pretty sure its because of the traditional bd and the frame not being Z'd as drastically, could be wrong though. but anyway that dick with the stock hood was to cocky to help me out, so its pretty much pointless to section the pan unless you just want it to be up higher bucause the tranny hangs lower than the pan and that can only go so low.
