A diagonal panhard is doable. Just make sure you keep it's angle parallel to the 2link bars and the mounting points the same lengths eye to eye to keep tension and compression stresses on the panhard bar to a minimum. Also, definately use heim joints or super pivots. Rubber or urethane bushings have no businesses to be in a situation like this. It'll bind severely just by simply going through its range of motion, and put more unnecessary stress on your tabs. And for your heim joint mounting, make sure to use spacers in between the tabs to give the joint room to actually pivot.
