would i section my oil pan like an inch? or more? ill check out josh's profile to see if he has any pictures of how he lowered his intake

Josh doesnt have anything on here. He isnt posting new pics for a while. Lol. If you email him he might send you a picture of the intake.

The pans I have done are sectioned almost 1.5" which with 1.5" drop would put the pan pretty much on the ground. These retain stock oil capacity. You could probably go a little further and bend the oil pickup tube up a little bit to accomodate.

i bd mine to the pinch weld. gives you something to drag. plus after tubbing the firewall ive got enough room for 20s with small ass tires (225/30/20) eq. to a 25.3" tall tire which was the same height as the stock tires my yota came with.

the steering is the only thing i am worried about, i will just modify the stock mounts, and i thougt of that croosmember trick maybe i will try that during my rebuild would like to get the motor under the hood

If it hits the drag link its easy to modify.

Definitely check out the tech in MT. Bobby did it, and he knows his hit. I don't really have any good pictures from when I did it, just before and after.
