I just traded my last project i bodydropped for a 92 isuzu that I am planning on bodydropping to lay true flat rocker. From what I read it looks like I need to go about 3 1/2" to do this. My questions are:1. Is this the corret amount I need to bodydrop it to lay true flat rocker2. Am I going to have to channel the new frame threw the cab any dropping it this much3. Are there any problems I should be prepared for other than having to notch the lower control arms

Thanks

Is this the corret amount I need to bodydrop it to lay true flat rocker_dont worry about inches, cut the pinch off and when you cut the floorjust drop it down until it sits on the rocker, then you can even drop it like an extra 1/2inch just so it lays hard into it and drags a bit off over time, if you are doing a stock floor, just cut the pinch off and drop it down, if it lays rocker without having to cut the floor then you are good, if not, cut the floor in spots where it hits until its down where you want it. inches is over rated, i dont even know how many inches my toy is bd, its just doored, get it?

2. Am I going to have to channel the new frame threw the cab any dropping it this much, obviously if you are doing a traditional bd you will be cutting the floor, now all floor or channel is up to you, if its going stock floor, to the rocker i assume there will be some floor cutting but should remain mostly stock.

3. Are there any problems I should be prepared for other than having to notch the lower control arms, you may have to Z the front clip, not sure on the zoo how it is but more than likely gonna have to z it,

Thanks, your welcome, hope this helps.

nah the clip only has to be z'd if you have the 2.6 with the retarded ass oil pan that hangs way below the frame rails
also if you want to lay with stock spindles then yeah you'll have to notch the arms it not hard at all to do
and when you body drop it your also going to have to relocate the torsion rods that stabilize the control arms since they are mounted to the front of the frame that will be cut and lowered for the body drop if you dont they will be at crazy angles and wont work most people just move em toward the fire wall side of the control arms

Or, you could triangulate your arms like I did. Makes them work like an A-arm. No more strut rods.

^^^^ Thanks for the info. I didn't think i had to z the frame but read that and then wasn't sure hadn't had a chance to go back out and look at it. Yeah from the looks of the front suspension it is pretty similar to the hardbody i bodydropped. So look like alot of the same things except for notching the lower control arm to lay on stock spindals.

Thanks for the inputs.

P.S. Fuck you MO your gay ha
