i know this is a really basic question for most of u but where do i cut when doing a back half? do i have to take the cab off or not? and how do i properly weld the new 2x4 box tubing? also does anyone have pics of 4 links on isuzu pickups?thanks in advance

Check my profile. You dont have to take the cab off, but what makes you want to use 2x4? And for the whole where to cut part, it depends on how your building your back-half.

no specific reason for the 2x4..if u have suggestions besides straight tube help me out..thanks

damn u want to sell me that fuel cell?lol where can i get one of those

The reason I say that is because there is no need for that high of a beam hight on such a light truck, 2x3 .120wall works great and slides right into the stock frame. I got my fuel cell from RCI and then had it polished, it came out pretty good and RCI is a good company.

so how far should i sleeve that 2x3 into the existing rail? and what specs did u have to send to rci to get that cell...does rci have a site or a contact?

This is mine. I havent had any problems with it. Its hard to tell in the pics but I did add supports to the front x-member where the four-link bars are mounted.

I used 2x3. And yes, the 2x3 goes all the way to the bottom of the stock framerail (on the inside).
