its the same as stockflooring except you cut off the original frame at the back of the cab.
you can slide the 2z3 tubing inside the frame rails and finish weld from the cab back on just the tubing and then chop the original frame off.

you can build your dimensions however you want just make sure your bed and 4 link will mount up to it and be level with the cab

rciracing.com is there site, and I just got the 15 gallon fuel cell with the sender installed. Mine goes in about 8"....lol....
and I drilled a 1" hole on each side to weld the back-half to the stock frame and then welded all around where the back-half slides into the stock frame.

your askin all the right questions, but im worried that something like this might be alittle "big" for you to tackle. is there any one in your area that could help you out? making a rar frame is "easy" (if youve done it a few times) but even your frist isnt hard to do. you need to figure out what all your tryin to do. as in keeping the floor, cutting out the entire floor, making it like a peice of art, for poeple to see, or is it all goin to be covered up. air ride, hydros, tank, pump(s), ect. make a list, check it twice, and then lay it out and build it. if you dont have a plan, youll redo it again sometime. i use 2x3 .120, and sometimes .083 just depends on what your doin. but you are doin the right thing, ask many questions..

Kinda scary that you are planning to backhalf a truck yet you need advice on removing lowering blocks.

Sorry I havent been on this thread in a while. Task (crippled4life), all I can say is...do tons of research before you cut that F@CKER up. It was already mentioned before but you have to know what you want out of your backhalf. Plan it all out so that you know where everything is gonna go. Trust me, it makes everything so much easier in the long run. Hell, if you have to, go your local library and find books on suspensions, then figure out how YOU want it. Don't try to build a cover truck...just keep it clean and simple.

Oh yeah, Dave (nekbreaker) thanks for the props on the frame.
