O.k. I've been looking at a lot of the rules and regulations to get in a lot of the clubs and I noticed that everywhere I go has 17" wheels or bigger whatever happened to 13-15's with 50 series tires? I personally have 16's on my truck and I see no reason why you should have to have 17's to get in a club the wheels don't make the truck.

wheel size shouldnt matter if your able to join a club or not.

well, if you want to join a club that requires you have 17" rims, thats their rules. you cant bitch about it. their club, their rules.

i think a club with rules and/or requirements to get in is a bad idea to begin with. you don't necessarily have to be in a club; you can be a so-called "lone wolf" or start your own club that doesn't have any guidelines to join or be a part of.

i think it goes 2 ways really, if you are doing a smoothie or steel wheel and white wall combo, there are expectations to rules

I started a club. It hasn't been to suscessful, but our rules are your ride must be clean for the meetings. your ride has to have three mods wheels not being one of them.

I don't think I'm going to worry about a club its not like theres any close to Bourbon, Missouri anyway I'd have to go into the city for mettings and shit so fuck it I'll just ne a loner.

17's are pretty much standard nowadays thats why. Mst of those rules were put in place years ago and most of the top notch rides have wheels bigger than 17s now. But hey, look at me, I am rockin 15s and in a major club so go figure. Build your ride for yourself then look at clubs that fit what you want.

Some people think big wheels=custom. But, it is their rules and their right. Do what's best for YOU.
