Hey guys i want to mount my tag somewhere. I don't want to weld in a tag box,nor do i want to buy a lexan window. What are your suggestions or ideas? I want something that looks good and not like i just threw it together that i can take off fairly easily when i go to shows? Anybody got any ideas? Thanks alot guys for the help.

what about a pop up one from avs? so when u roll into a show u can just hit a switch and it will go down

the AVS pop-up kit is DOPE... i installed one on my toyota, i highly modified it to sit flush in the bedrail, but if your looking for quick and easy... it will just bolt on to the front side of your bed, u could install the whole thing in less than 2 hours id bet.... check it out !

the avs one is pretty rad, but im cheep....so i'd just make a bracket out of 1/4" round stocl, and bolt it to the factory bed tie down hooks......or put one on a hinge with a magnet to mount under the bed.

yea im with the avs idea wait i make them at AVS this style does take alittle more work to flush mount..but overall the best way to hide the tag

do they have a light?

On my wagon I jsut used a piece of metal strap and bent it to fit around my bumper and then welded a "T" on the end to mount tag..then bought a billet license frame w/ a tag light. I can take it off w/ 2 bolts if I needed to. AVS kit is cool, I just did this to have a place for tag after I shaved the tailgate. Didnt want to spend the money on AVS kit...

In OKC ...there is a company that sells rollpans and stuff off of NW Expressway that I was told sells kit like AVS one. Cant think of name but they make rollpans for older fullsizes and other replacement parts.
