say I had a new dodge or ford.. what would one think it'd cost to have a shop do the front end?

08 fords may be a arm not sure i know up to 07 still on beams i believe

The adapters go on the outside of the wheel instead of behind them so your outside wheel is does not get spaced out due to the adapter.

Does anyone have a pic of these?

I noticed on deeezle wheels site some have the rims tucked and some stick out like 3"... still tryin to finger out how them adapters do that

05 and up fords the adaptors still go behind the wheels. you have to remove the stock wheel studs and press them into the adaptor so they are backwards with the lugs on towards the inside. in that pic it looks like a "top hat" style center cap. Chevy will be cheaper than a ford in a long run.I-beams are a bitch trust me i know. on a dodge you can correct allot of camber by moving uca's up 3".
