those new rockford 8" do look pretty sweet, and like everything rockford im sure they sound clean, but you know everyone has there own prefered brand, but as long as you build the correct sized enclosure and have the right power there isnt much that wont sound good

Yeah I don't have a favorite brand, I just want somethign to sound decent that I can fit withotu sacrificing room for me or the passenger.

well the mounting depth on the pioneer flats is only 2 7/8" so it might be something to look alittle closer at and they only require about .5 cuft of air ported or sealed

Thats the 10s? I couldnt find specs on them. Maybe I can make one of those fit and modify the box I have already.
IMLOWER   +1y
they have that listed on tehre web site. if you go to a shop that has them in stock just take the info card out of the box and get all the specs

Since you cant fit them between your seats or behind them, you might want to consider molding the smaller subs into the passangers side glove box with fiberglass. (just a suggestion)good luck.

I've never gone wrong with JL. I've had 2 sets of 10W0 and they sound clean and decent bass. I've never heard their 8s but I'm sure they sound good also
