I say get another honda....lol That's what I drive every day and it's cheap! Fuck drivin my dually every day.. 20+ mpg vs 8 mpg... Kind of an easy choice..

you know gas is only going to go higher next year since it is election year. I don't drive mine cuz I can't afford gas. I get like 10 around town with the big block. I don't think you will get much if any better with the 5.7 since it has to work harder to push that big ole truck. My work truck is a 95 chevy with 5.7 and 4:10 gears and it has never gotten over 10mpg. Right now I would be surprised if it gets 5. Its whooped and needs replacing but can't afford to right now.

I would buy a beater car and drive the shat out of it, if it dies scrap it for a couple hundred bucks and buy another.
