not to jump on ur post but whats the narrowest irs ???

Some old datsuns had some pretty narrow IRS's.

Depending on your abilities you could always get just the diff part and build your own arms and what not. then it is as narrow as you want it.

I'm not sure how much power you want to put down, but this system is supposed to be good for as much as the third-member is capable of (up to 1200hp.) We are puting 500+ to the ground with no complaints. To build a system like this (assuming you can do the work) would run about $2500. If that is too much. Depending on the weight of the vehicle, I would look towards the T-birdif it is heavy or the Supra if it is smaller.

What is that rear end out of. Its nice with the inboard disc brakes. Was that a conversion to locate the brakes inboard, or does it come like that??

I built all of that. The only thing I had done was the rearend housing. I am building Ford 9" rearend housings now that just use 930 or 934 CV's and are super narrow to get the most travel out of the axles.

what are you charging for a unit like that. Just the housing and the cv's, and what are you using for outer supports. I may be interested in a center section. I am looking at a kugel or heidts setup, but just cant swallow 4200 bones for a bare unit.

The price would totally depend on the amount of horsepower that you are wanting it to handle. The 930 CV's are only about $60 and the 934's are about $250. The third member is also a difference, they can range from $500 to $1000. The housing would be about $400 out of TIG welded cold-rolled mild, and the axles will be about $350.

You notice I keep using "about." It is very dependent on the circumstances.

As for the uprights, I use a Timken bearing hub replacement for the Colorado that also has a Toyota lug pattern. I can build the uprights to do whatever you need them to.

As I stated earlier, all of the parts would be about $2500, assuming you can do the labor yourself. If you are serious about puting something together, e-mail me.

A jag rearend has the brakes inboard and there are no cv joints their u-joints. There's a company that builds them to your application and they build them pretty beefy. I also thi9nk their complete kit without the chrome and polished billet comes complete for around 2500 - 3000 All you have to do is install it. http://www.cwiinc.com/
