chrome spike lug nut covers?

Campy- We are still trying to find the best way to keep them on the lug covers. We are hoping to have full production after the first of the year.
El Jefe- The 33mm screw on covers wont fit on the rear of a truck if you have all 4 rear aluminum wheels on the rear. There isnt enough thread left on the lug studs for the spikes to grab.

gotcha, so im running some steelies off of my old 91 dually on my 77, so I should be able to stick the spikes in the rear then??
also, you say that they need to bite on the thread..but above you also mentioned that they go on lug covers...
How exactly do these things go on the rig?? do I have to have the lugs with the threads on the outside for the plastic covers to screw on, or do they press onto the 3/4 hex of the lugnut??
Im a bit confused, do you have some pics of the inside of these things??

Where you are getting confused is we are talking about semis and 8 luggers in the same conversation.
Our 10 lug semi wheels spike lug covers are a screw on lug cover. Hence if you are running 4 aluminum wheels in the rear there isnt enough thread on the adapter to screw on the spike lug covers.
Our 8 lug covers are going to be snap on. So you can put them on anything as long as you can get them over the lugnuts.
