sliding rag tops

has anyone ever had any problems with their sliding rag leaking, im getting ready to buy one for my civic and i was wondering before i buy it.

i had a street beat and it leaked in heavy rain, not through the frame but through where the rag met the frame in the front. just get the plastic shield and you'll be good

same here used to have a street beat -- and in heavy rain it would leak -- (i dont care how good of an installer you are) --- i wouldnt put another one on a daily driver -

MINE DOESN'T LEAK, BUT I WOULD LIKE TO GET ONE OF THOSE SHIELDS THOUGH. DOES STREETBEAT MAKE ONE FOR A 40X40 RAG?

Mine just leaks from the side in heavy rain but its not a daily so it dont bother me.

is it bad leaks or just a drip from time to time cause mine is going to be on a daily and its also garage kept. any time out side its under a cover so you think i would be ok. im only give 175.00 for it new in the box

I had a street beat rag too, mine never leaked.... even in bad rain..... unless i was washin the truck and sprayed in the side but that just cuz im retarted....

im about to get a used one from my boy but he said he hadn't had any problems of yet, but at the same token i dont think his truck saw rain?
