sliding rag tops

i have one in my daily s10 and no leaks at all and i have no flapping sound at hi speeds like ive been told and for the heavy rains i live in oregon so you all know we live wet lol

Any of you guys using that wind deflector for the rag top? Does it help or is it just a waste of money?

never had any problems with the rag that was on my old truck

i have a streetbeat and it sucks!! it leaked between the frame and the top itself, not around the top and the roof so it was not the install. and the plastic sliders that fit in the rail broke off of the top. mine was a big piece of shit!!

Im doing work to my truck at the moment so i took out my rag but before i put it back in is there something i can make that will make the latch close better and how can i make it seal better?? Its a pain in the ass to close

im willing to trade for 89-95 yota parts or a 35x24 ragtop

How much you want for it? Or what kind of parts, cause i have a ton of parts.

i work at street beat and built ragtops for 2 years all the ones that i have helped instal have worked fine and never came back cause of anything except customer error i even have one in my cadillac and i think it is awsome

yeah, ive got a 40x80 on my astro ,it used to be a daily driver only leaked a little when i washed it high pressure from the side. get it installed by a reputable shop one that does sunroofs and you should be ok. they wont use the pinch moulding around the outside frame.
