6 speed allison into a 94 dually

"quickness" come on now these are 5000lbs+ trucks..

One of my friends had a Bodydropped 94 crewcab 454 and we used to drag race all the ricers around here and then once we had them by about 4 or 5 cars we'd drag on em... Was good times. These trucks get off the line pretty good considering how heavy they are.. but you add up 454 and 411's and it's gonna have some nuts of the line...lol

pick up is imporant to me...I could barely keep up with a cavalier....lso you would lose pulling power if you went to a higher gear...

Wow....2895 plus 650 to install....

damn...

yeah, i will loose some quickness but the truck runs 15's in the 1/4 so it will still be pretty quick but alot more practical to drive on long trips plus its alot cheaper.

wish mine ran 15s....
