Rear ends should swap straight up with no problems as long as one is not a cab/chassis truck.

If you are going to hammer this truck on the pavement with no adjustability options, I would leave the 3/4 ton stuff on the front so your wheel will set inside the fenders and you could still turn. Just a thought but that is what I would do.
