I'm picking up the full CS2 suite. So, lets see if I can do this stuff.

Adobe's Creative Suite is just Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign bundled together as a package.

ya...goodluck paying the 1k -2k pricetag on a full 3d rendering like that

the reason we dont use 3d is because its too time consuming and people arent willing to pay the $ for it

we barely make enough as is for the work we put into a rendering

150$ isnt enough for a two view rendering with 15-20 hours into it
but thats the average price now a days

those are some killer 3d renderings tho.

im a third year architecture student, and that looks alot like Rhino, which is what we use. It could be 3D Studio Max or Maya, like matt said. the reason you don't see any minitrucks done like this is because it has to be completely designed, not drawn. the pictures you see are just views of a full 3D model. It's hard enough doing a building in these programs, i couldn't imagine having to do a vehicle. oh, and Maya, for instance, used to cost $16,000 but its dropped down to about $8,000 now.
