Man you guys ares some young'ens. I first started using Photoshop back in 93 or 94. This was well before layers, I think it was version 1.5 or 2. I first started chop cars back than and have been doing it ever since. I am now 37 and an art director (for last 10 years) and now have a patent in a photoshop color process? for what ever thats worth. So some of you guys were like 9 or 10 when I started using photoshop.

i got started out in graphic design when i was 15.. photoshop 6 on the mac in middle school (8th grade) making stupid cards and such for school.

in highschool i took every media art class availible and by my sophmore year i was doing renderings

i spent months if not a year trying to do renderings on my own and i finally got robbie and brian to take me under their wing and show me the ropes.. damn near 2 years and some change later.. im still with KEG and dont plan on leaving anytime soon... doug has showed me a few things to help me out too when i needed it.. so dont count him out

im always willin to show someone how to do something..
thats probably why there are so many undercutting rendering businesses out right now.. dropping the price of a rendering down so much its almost not worth the time to do them... im still learning web design.. oscommerce is a bitch and a half.. ill be happy when i get up to a higher understanding of it.

nothing is impossible with computers.
were just starting to see 3d renderings popping out.

before too long you'll see animated renderings.. maybe movie clip renderings of trucks in simulated streets dragging.. or at a simulated show.. its crazy to think how far along computers are in only 30 years of being around.

sounds like your made a trip, i remember my first Photoshop and not knowing anything about a "rendering" back them i was 16 and i decided to dl a trial of jasc paint shop pro 7 since a classmate introduced me to it and i was amazed at the time what a program could do.

so I being 16 my dad handed down my 94 toyota to me and i didnt want the damn thing but he said fine you can pay for a newer one or something else...with what job? so I kept it and thought about putting my truck on the computer and TRYing to see what this grandpa truck could look like... well after about 2 days of studing the program and playing around I finally had done it but that will never compare to what we all do now.

i'm 26. i never touched photoshop until late 2004. needless to say, after 6 months of getting pissed off, it finally clicked. now, i'm somewhat addicted. and like most of you have already said, i learn something new in every project i do.

btw, the charger is clean. keep it up.
