i thought when you overloaded the bumper it just starts to bend, not fall off!
is it a factory bumper?

I would not worry about the tongue weight if you are using a tow dolly. My concern would be ur little 4 banger being able to pull the truck. And your brakes being able to stop such a load. just my 2

I think if you took it easy you'd be fine. There's not much tongue weight on those dollies.

We pulled an 1985 montecarlo behind my 1998 F-150 500 miles on a dolly with a bumper hitch. Those cars are heavy as shit. It should be fine. Pull the drive shaft out of the S-10! This will create less drag and is also better for the s-10's tranny. My concern would be the little 85hp we have. Just take it easy.

Dude go for it, I had a 85 nissan that we hauled a bodydropped isuzu on a flat bed trailer 30 miles. Yes it was hard to stop, and it did 0 to 60 in about 2 minutes, but it made it. And that truck was all rusted to shit. You should be just fine, just go slow and be carefull....good luck

If you are using a tow dolly, all of the weight of the truck is centered over the axle of the dolly.. There is almost no weithgt from what you are towing put onto your truck.. you could probably lift the hitch with your hands..

Like ryan said, only thing you need to worry about is moving and stopping.
