Okay, another possible product...

What if I put together a package of parts that would be used to build your own independent rear suspension? The price would be totally dependent on the options that you choose...

I'm not sure how I would want to do it yet, but I have been getting a few calls about it and thought it would be a good idea. I have already done all of the "leg work" and could put it all together in one place to make things easier for everyone else.

What do you all think?

I saw that post you did about the most commonly used IRS and looked at the chevelle on your profile. I think that would be cool if you made a kit for people. don't know that I could afford it but it would be cool

I think it would be a hit. There not exactly my cup a tea but if I wanted one that would be cool to have a place that can make something custom to my application instead of spending more time that I don't have on how to make it all work.

You guys and your crazy hair brained sceams! lol nah you guys kick ass!

I have lots of info already. I have a company that will make me all of the splined parts and I have already been puting together a 9" Ford housing that is super narrow. I have Wilwood as a brake parts supplier and Currie Ent. will build a 9" gear-case to do anything I want. I was just curious if it would be worth me pushing.

i will pay for it right now!!!!!!!!!!
they are everywhere, but its hard to find the right width and bolt pattern, to match your vehicle, however i think a ford 9in is overkill for your typical mini truck. It would also be nice if you made the the kit from an existing irs, for replacement parts availability (besides axles of course)

for my personal application i would be lookin for a cradle with control arms and braking and hubs.....i have a center section comin to me out of an rx7 but i want to build a custom cradle and upper and lower arms similar ot what you did for mike selfs datsun.....so what about making a basic cradle kit with mounting options for various differentials......me personally i am more worried about where to get some narrowed axles!!!!
