The passenger side beam hits the 4.0 oil pan before it even touches the frame so I notched it but I almost need to cut all the way through it to get clearance for it to lay what did you guys do?What size rims are you running? I was just gonna reinforce the beam almost like a c notch with some mitered tubing or something..

Section the oil pan or make damn sure you reinforce your beam well enough. Your whole truck pivots off of those beams.

has anybody else had this problem? Ok if I section the oilpan can that in anyway effect the performance of the motor as far sumping the oil properly etc. never sectioned a pan b4

aight well i just crawled out from under the truck the oil pan is fukn huge so I dont think it'll hurt to take some away its also cast so I don't know if thats gonna weld very well or not I can only hope I dont have to buy a new one!

i had a 91 b/d on 18s and i sectioned the oilpan w a piece of 2" pipe left the djm beams alone,worked great

I know if i get the stockers to lay I can roll 18's.....you know at this stage in the game the more and more I do I wish i would have built an entire frame w/toy clip etc and b/d all at the same time because you pretty much dive into the truck just as much just bagging it
