Z the frame?

I think I went a lil overboard on the Z but I wanted to be sure the lower control arms dont drag.

Man I checked out your cardomain page, and all i got to say is DAMN!!

WTF kind of 4 link is that? They look like the bars you can buy from tractor supply!! The upper bars need more triangulation to control the side-side movement of the axle. How far did you Z the frame? Looks like 2+ inches! The farthest you would have had to go was about 1-1.5 inches max. WTF happened to your notch? You had to "notch" your notch to get it to lay?!?

Im not talkin shit bro, but you need to rethink some of the things you have done already to make it safe.

Yeah Ive aleady put more thoguht into the 4 link, my came by and took a look and was like that four link is too narrow, so ive planned on going the from the middle of the crossmember to the outside of the axle near the lower links, and as for the notch, Im most likely cutting them out, my friend said they would be fine... but when i get my bag kit im prolly just gonna weld a peice of square tubing to the bottom and put the kit ones in... and the Z in an inch and 3/4... this is my first build of this kind, well at least this massive, and any and all comments are great, im not gonna get offended by the things you guys say, cuz ive never done this and you guys have so if u say its not gonna work then i beleive you im nto gonna start arguements over this shit lol.... and thanks for the feed back

I just moved the 4 link and its all just taked, was just wondeirng what you think?

alright here goes my first he right where in the hellya did you get those link bars, second whose doin all the welding and are you welding it all with flux core make sure those welds are going to hold, third did you notch the steering in that pic, fourth did you check that angle on the tranny when you z'ed it and cut out that crossmember and check it on the floor pan when you z it the tranny comes closer to the floor and fifth what size wheels and tires are you mocking all this up with...? i think that is all for now...hahahno on the seriuos side check all this stuff for your own safty man, but have fun with it and let me know if you need any more help.peace

well i got em from tsc lol, and the wheels im using are stock sized, im cutting out the notches and redoing them, yes its flux core and yes im prepping all welds with a 45 degree bevel and wire brushing the weld before cominueing, and that tubing is just sitting there not taked or nething just to hole it for now
