Here are some pics of a '61 that we recently did. The '69s are different, you can't run the upper bars triangulated so you need to run a panhard or something of the sort.

The front suspension pic is the kit that we built for the front of the non disk brake Linc's to convert them to disk using a '88 to '98 full-size Chevy spindle. The spindle also acts like a 1 3/4" dropped spindle laying the big bastards out with no cutting.

do you sell the kits? and why cant you run the bars triangulated on a 69'? is there not enough room?

I do sell the kit. There is a lot invloved, but they work really well. A complete kit would run $1500 without brakes or bags. The only thing you would need to weld on would be the upper shock mount.

The floor on the '69 is shaped very differently. There isn't any room to triangulate the bars, but you can fit a straight bar on each side of the frame.

i was told it was a 69 when i bought it. but after a closer insepection come to find out its a 66'. so can i run triangulated bars on a 66'?

No, the cut off is '63 or '64 I don't remember. I have a '65 and it won't work on it either.

Nice work bio. Got any more pics of the rest of the car?

i really would rather not run a 2-link with a panhard bar. because 1-its a super heavy car 2-its got a monster of a motor and 3-im going to be towing with it. what are my other options besides a 2-link with a panhard bar?

Do a parallel 4 link with a panhard bar like the f/s chevy kp kit
