carbs

thats why i bought it, i figured its barry grant so you cant get a better brand of carb, i just dont know enough about how they work well enough to fix my own problems :\

i fixed my float lvl, turns out the front float was stuck at the bottom of the bowl, so i now i can rev it all i want and it sounds awesome, but now it wont stay alive when i let it idle and it still smokes like a bar tramp

did you change the jets like i said? did you adjust the idel mixture screws like i said? the program only works if you do the whole thing.

i didnt change the jets but i did mess with the mixture and it doesnt change much

i have all day tomorrow to mess with it so im dedicating the whole day to fixing the problem

ok, i got it to idle right, but it putters out when i put throttle to it

HMM... IVE NEVER HAD aNY PROBLEMS WITH MY DEMONS WE HADE DUEL SON OUR 55 CADZILLA 1 ON MY BROS 57 AND WE JUST PUT ONE ON OUT HOPPER AND WELL JUST THE IDLE ADJUSTMENT... DAM im oblivious to this problem.... edelbrocks are okay untill your stiiting in traffic the power valve over heats and ught thats a definite problem.. do you got the warranty or receipt i would definatly take it back.. try another maybe its just a bad carb

ive had it for 4 years, im sure im just messing something up, i think i do have my papers it came with so ill see if thatll help something

SO did you change the jets or just tweek all of the adjustments...

just the adjustments, i didnt change the jets. i drove it for about an hour and a half a while back and it was fine then it started to act funny after i drove it and its been wierd ever since
