Here's some pics of my Canyon. Just to let you know first off, it had the Z-71 2WD pkg on it when we started. Alot more to it that way, but here's the idea. First off we used stock upper and lowers shortened and pushed back the the mounts and 1 1/2 inches.

Cut out the fender wells and didn't have to mess with the firewall and I'm tuckin' 20s.

Here's how we mounted the plates.

After we mounted the bag.

After all cleaned up

Here's the camber it was pullin' when we were done.

But I went through a set of front tires in 3,000 miles. So, we went back in and changed the uppers to a dirt track set up, which are adjustable in a million different ways. Pulled the camber out big time.

Next we are going to rebuild the lowers and get rid of the ball joints (used lowering ball joints) because I can't go any lower with them because they are binding against the spindle. Going to change them out to a universal joint so the whole frame will lay flat. Lacking a 1/2 inch in the front to completely put the whole frame on the ground. Don't have pics of that set up. Will have to get some and post them as well. Here's a better pic of it to get the full picture of it. Here's what lift we were getting after the first go around. After the new uppers it took away about 1 1/2 inches of that. Hope this helps.

Here's another one. I've a 1/2" plate along the bottom of my frame or it would sit lower. Gotta make sure my daily can still throw sparks and not eat my frame.
