Its 12:25 Pac time and I just finally finish it. As of this moment, I beleive I have the first, fully opperational, 2.6 liter, 2wd, "automatic", Isuzu Rodeo in the world. I just took it out for a test drive and its purrin' like a kitten, and shiften like its late for a party!!! In the end, I had to swap, the transmission, shifter, ignition, radiator, cooler lines, engine wiring harness, PCM(ECU), dash harness, cab harness, pedal, and the gas peddle cable. Just thought I would let you guys know. I'm pretty proud right now. L8r. :SP;

Thanks dudes. To be honest, Its cool that I did it, especially since I couldnt even get a transmission shop to touch it. I never realized how much work it was going to be. I wouldnt do it again, thats for damn sure. Next time, I think I'll just relocate the slave cylinder, or just start with a truck that the factory made an automatic.

You did all that work so you didnt have to relocate the clutch master cylinder?

I figured that I would kill two birds with one stone by putting in the automatic. My goal is to bodydrop it and drive it to every show(No trailer queen here!). So I had a couple of choices and decided that the auto would achieve all of what I was looking for. Due to my lack of knowledge about this type of swap, I never thought it would be this deep. I now know why the shops didnt want to do it.

That's awesome man, I don't know shit about Isuzu stuff but it seems you've accomplished a pretty big task on your own. Congrats.
