Newer style mazda bed on a ranger?

Are these beds pretty much the same and will they bolt right up, i saw on at a junkyard from a distance and it looked to be in decent shape, but it was on a extended cab truck, my truck is a standard cab, will it fit, or will the ext. cab bed be different from a standard, any help would be appreciated, thanks

If your ranger is a 93 and up, and the mazda is a 94 and newer then yes. Just to let you know the fender wells look different if you care. I have a 2000 Mazda bed on my 93 Ranger.

yeah, my ranger is a 95, and as in the fenderwell is different, do you mean outside or inside, and if it is outside, is it really noticable, or only noticable if you really take a look at it, and the ext. cab will fit on my standard with no probs, sorry for all the ?s, just wanna make sure before i get it

It will fit fine, the tail lights are different but if you get the harness, it will plug into your factory wire harness where it seperates near the spare tire mount. As being noticeable it just depends on the person, if both your truck and the bed are the same color it's not as bad. Ex. The newer STX Rangers that have the mazda bed.

Do you have any pictures of the bed you want to swap out? I'm kinda tired of it on mine.

well i have a stepside on mine now, look at my profile, its the 95 ranger, it is bodydropped and my 18s have drug threw the top of one of the bedsides and the bedsides have cracks in them, all it needs is new besides, but i couldnt find any bedsides cheaper than $300 a piece new, and i just really like the fleet side better

them mazda bed IS internally dimensionally the same as a fleet side, bedsides are just different.
