yeah, dont mold the kit on unless you wanna be dealing with cracking problems.
it looks like fiberglass, theyre usually pretty thin, so if you have a gap under the sideskirt to the rocker(where the fiberglass is bowed up or it may have warped after it was made) then fill the gap under it and grind off the material on top. if it were urethane i would tell you to take material off the back, like i did in my maxima, but glass is different.take some tape and a cookie sheet, tape the cookie sheet as best possible on your rocker. lay some glass on the rocker, then bolt the side skirt back on. this way you sandwich the glass against the bodykit and the rocker and it'll always be a tight fit. then you can grind don some of the material on top without being afraid you 'll go too far. when you take it off the rocker will come right out because of the cookie sheet. you can use plastic or tape, but sometimes the resin will eat through it. dont try to force fiberglass to stay a way it wasnt molded(like screwig it down to the rocker and molding it in. eventually itll vibrate enough to crack, show the screws through etc. dont forget to look at how it fits everywhere else. if it hits the fender somewhere and stops it from going further down, you may want to grind down that area and do the same thing this way it fits on better
