I would weld it up. You only have the doors and fenders to do right? Get some thin strips of sheetmetal and go to work. You could do like one side at a time tack all pieces in place then swap back and forth 2 ro 3 over the door, 2 or 3 on the fender, then on the cab corner etc....

You could weld some welding rod in and then use filler, but it would take more filler than I am comfortable with.
Either way your welding on sheetmetal.

Oh one thing I have done is dropped down to some super small wire like .025 or something. This makes sheetmetal work easier.

i used a solid metal rod, ran like 2inch long beads every 5inchs or so, hit that with the grinder, then kitty haired over that.

i would weld it, but y not cut down the center of the body line and dolly it out on the fenders and doors? then weld that up and wipe it.

well your box is fiberglass is it not? so kitty hair would work really well then top it off with bondo fo a nice smooth line... for the fenders, doors, and cab you can do the same or fill it with shett metal and grind it smooth then bondo over top to finish it all off... but thats only my opinion

i would dolly the edges perfectly flat and use the fibertech on the rest, most cracking problems are because of exposure to moisture...that isnt an issue if you go this route. DO NOT USE PANEL BOND. Panel bond expands and contracts with heat (sun) It'll work perfect if you want ghost body lines

panel bond is for attaching door skins and quaterpanels not shaving a truck. the body line on his bed is already gone.
