Just wondering but why are you taking it out?And if you are repainting the fenders make sure you clean ALL ground surfaces or you'll drive yourself nuts tryin to figure out why your truck wont start or is doing weird things. I also dont know how your tranny crossmember looks but i know with some of the stock ones it's not a bad idea to place a jack stand under the bell-housing portion of the trans.and from personal expereience if your picker has a chain levelewr on it throw it away(thats my opinion)

No particular reason other than maybe doing some upgrades to it and painting firewall. Also, I might learn alot from doing it too.

Jeff, i have a digital camera so I will be taking ALOT of pictures along with labeling EVERYTHING.

you say that but you will get into it quick and just not do anything like that. i regret doing it myself haha. i don't have much to worry about though, not many wires really.

well, i have to do something with it. We are pulling engines in our automotive class and we have to have it back in in 7 weeks.

unbolt the crossmember under the engine and take it out or else it you can't get it out. The intake will hit the truck under the wiper cowl.
