I like how the stock hood and fenders look with the newer grille and headlight. It makes it more subtle like unless you know the difference between the two, some people might not notice.And it looks like a cheaper mod when your on a budget.

if anyone needs some 99-02 chevy front end parts i have a whole front end minus driver fender.

yes it can be done with the stock rad support. i also know that the 99+ grille and bumper is 2 or 3 inches wider than the 88-98 grille and bumper. therefor you can either section it or flare out the fenders some way.
i also have a brand new set of 99+ lights and chrome bumper.

well i guess everybody flred out there fenders because almost all of the trucks ive seen with the conversion have a chrome grille. dont think they sectioned it then chromed it....

man if it was only the gmc front id drive down from arkansas and pick it up off your hands...

i just wanna know how hard it was to get the new grill and the headlight brackets on the old rad. support. and too see more pics... lol

couldnt tell you about putting the new stuff on the old support havent done it like that, but its not a cake walk to do it the way i did it.

how did you get the new rad. support in there?

centered it on the frame left to right and drilled some holes, left the bolts hand tight and then when i started doing the fenders i figured out where it had to go front to back occording to where the fenders had to line up.

you will probably end up slotting out the original holes you drilled to get the radiator support lined up front to back, at least i did.
