What all am I going to need to do to lay out on 18's. Anybody got pics ? I'd figure front inner fenders and thats it. But I could be wrong ?

u can notch the frame and lower control arms and possibly get it to lay on stock spindles. if not, you'll need spindles too.

You have to install a notch in the rear preferably an 8 inch form like SD.

And youll need to cut the upper arms top/bottom, but leave about an inch or less on each side, then mount them up and drop the truck. They will bend up, which will allow them to not bind up when you lay out! Take them off weld them back together and your done with them...

You'll need to flip both upper/lower ball joints, and notch the lower arm to allow the lower ball joint to be flipped! Basically a pie-cut!

And place the upper bag bracket as close to the top of the frame as possible! This will give you more drop....

Here are a couple pics of mine....Layin' on 18's with all of the above done and some other secrets......

THe control arm pics aren't mine but they show you where to cut them....

Mine only has the lower balljoint flipped, and the uppers aren't piecut that much.
But I like the extra camber when layed out, and it straightens up within the first 2-3 inches of lift. It lays out on a 215/45/17 which is taller than the 2 18" tire sizes most people use on Mazdas, the 225/35/18 and 215/35/18.

My personal experience with Mazdas hasn't required any pie-cutting. No secrets for me, it was all really straight forward once I pulled it apart and started in.

If you need any detailed help just shoot me an IM man

my mazda lays out on 18" titans, but i never cut my front fenders, if I do its going to lay in the front, as for the back it lays out already because of the notch.
