What mufflers do you run?

flowmaster 40 seies muffler with a k@n intake sonds dope!!!!

I had a Flowmaster first and the sound was unbearable. I just went to a muffler shop and told the guy I wanted the smallest quietest he had and he hooked me up. Flowmaster got custom installed in the dumpster!

if you want quiet, the flowmaster 40 is NOT quiet, but it sure does sound good. Before my flows, I had a gibson catback and it was louder than stock but not by much. It was quiet in my opinion. I have never heard magnaflows before but if you are wanting performance and quiet, I'd go with gibson. Most the time, if you go to the websites (flowmaster, gibson..), they will have sound bytes you can listen too

i run magnaflow on everything i own.

what was annoying about the flow or mellowtone? by too loud do you mean resonance inside of cab? the magnaflow will def get rid of that. but they are still kinda loud outside.

i personally like my vehicles being loud, but not obnoxious inside. Magnaflow has given that to me.

Borla,sounds great & is stainless. Have a shorty on for now ,until the rest of the suspension work is done.It's 2 1/2" OD & about 8" long.The cat is a stainless flow through from LC.

gibson is almost quiet as stock. i've tried one of them. i love a flowmaster 60 series. they are quieter than 40 series and have a deeper tone. flowmaster= higher the number, quieter the sound lower the number louder the noise. i now have a dynomax polished stainless muffler and it is as quiet as stock. it is VERY slim, you can lay it flat under the cab very easily. look em up. they're not cheap but i love mine
