He schould atleast get some upper tubular arms. I have a 1st gen and fully laid the knuckle hits the arm. I will be swaping out soon.

I used to cut them back in the day but it fucks your camber up real bad when you change ride height.See when you move a joint like that the arm becomes longer.When you raise it up it cambers in and throughs your tow out causing the truck to jerk around.Kinda scary ride.
