ON my old yota i put it on the floor and thru the firewall. The actual cylinder is almost next to the frame rail. I MIGHT have some pics

Or you can just spend the money and get a Wilwood setup and not have to make anything except for a bracket to hold it.

Mines under the dash and it works great. Just depends on how you build it.

i just raised mine up. it goes into the "fresh air vent" area & i had to make a little box for it & it barely clears my wiper arms in there, but it works & looks pretty good. i'll take some pics later & post them for you either tonight or tomorrow if you remind me.
good luck...

sorry the pics aren't too good, & please excuse the welds...i was in a very uncomfortable position & i've since ground them down, rewelded them & seam sealered it, but this will give you a general idea.good luck...

p.s. it also helps that i have my own sheetmetal brake, but the pieces are small enough that if you used a large vice, you could do the same. just use lots of beer boxes for templates, a unibit, & a 1.5" hole saw & you'll have it made...also heat up the line a little when using your tubing bender because i cracked one trying to bend it not knowing it would be that brittle (it's 20 years old).
good luck...

This is my setup. The resovoir is connected to a remote mounted on the firewall so I won't have the mess of filling it up on the inside.

And the reason it looks like its been chopped up is becasue it has been. I moved my booster over 3.5in and moved the clutch pedal set up 1" forward so it fit the firewall better. I sectioned the shaft on the brake to move the pedal bake to its original location. It felt like they were way to close together and it didn't feel natural.
